Glimmer Mist...using CTMH Products

I know that everyone loves to stay on top of all the new goodies out there. Here is a fabulous way to create some Custom Glimmer mist and coordinating with the 60 colors Close To My Heart already offers, embellishments, stamps, stickease and more and more... won't your pages just come alive!

To Create "CTMH Glimmer Mist" simply mix 50/50 rubbing alcohol and our Create-a-shade Pearl Paint in a small spritzer. I have used our spritzer for cleaning stamps. Simply empty, wash out and let dry ahead of time. Then add as much re-inker of your choice until the desired color is reached.

Adding Alcohol in place of water gives you the advantage of it evaporating quickly. FYI: The water based solution will take longer to dry.

Simply place whatever you want to CTMH Glimmer in a box (it keeps the spray contained and less mess) use a "sweeping" spray (lightly move your hand back and forth while spraying (no globs or heavy spray areas this way). Anything can be misted... paper, flowers, dimensional elements, use masks - circles, stamps, flowers, recycled items - just allow your piece to dry... Have fun creating - the possibilities are endless..

FYI: you want to start with lighter colors first as they will show up, then follow with darker... remember you can always darken papers, but lighten - NOT!

Heart - Altered Chocolate Box

I received a fabulous "HUGE" box of chocolates from my family on Valentines Day - well, if you know me well enough, you would know that I would savour the chocolates and then alter the box...
Here is the Bottom half of the box - i created this for my friend Tammy as she wanted something for her entrance. Yes, those are magnets you see, that way she can post up notes, put up the kid's school pictures and change each year. Multi purpose Heart!

I am trying out for "guest spot" on Scrap it forward - go check it out!!! really would love to create on their team, would love your comments

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS MARCH 31ST at midnight.

What if I already purchased a bag and/or completed some of the above tasks without even being tempted by a killer prize?

Then you are among our favorite people! :) So don't worry, just email us with any of the above task(s) that you've completed along with your order number. We will enter you accordingly. BUT YOU MUST EMAIL US WITH YOUR ENTRIES. PREVIOUS AND CURRENT ORDERS FOR MARCH WILL NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED. IN OTHER WORDS, YOU HAVE TO PLAY TO WIN. :)

How will you pick the winner?

The winner will be selected using an online random number generator; and announced on the Epiphanie blog by April 2nd, 2010.

Why did you pick a gift card for Southwest as the other choice for a prize?

Because Epiphanie is about exploring, traveling, and living a life more inspired. AND we think it might be nice to have a vacation to go along with your sassy new camera bag! We chose Southwest simply because they are our favorite airline. Southwest did not solicit our opinion. Epiphanie is not affiliated with Southwest, and Southwest is not sponsoring this contest in any way whatsoever. And for the record, Canon is not sponsoring this contest either, nor are we affiliated with Canon.

More details:

No purchase is necessary to win. Please do not contact us to make sure that we received your information. The prize being offered is the camera BODY ONLY. NO LENSES ARE INCLUDED. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. This contest is void in Puerto Rico, and where prohibited by law. It is soley your responsibility to ensure that contests like this one are not prohibited by the laws in your area. Contest subject to all applicable federal, state, and local law regulations. Epiphanie is not responsible for delays in receiving your prize caused by Customs clearance, or anything else that is beyond our control. Videos and/or photos that are offensive, vulgar or attack any individual or company will be automatically disqualified. In the event that this camera is discontinued during this contest, we reserve the right to substitute your prize with the Southwest gift card. Color Career Creator

I was "hopping" around one night and stumbled onto Color Career Creator - what fun, i did all it asked me to do... and here was the Category I ended up in! Try it.

Best Occupational Category
You're a CREATOR
Keywords

Nonconforming, Impulsive, Expressive, Romantic, Intuitive, Sensitive, and Emotional

These original types place a high value on aesthetic qualities and have a great need for self-expression. They enjoy working independently, being creative, using their imagination, and constantly learning something new. Fields of interest are art, drama, music, and writing or places where they can express, assemble, or implement creative ideas.

CREATOR OCCUPATIONS
Suggested careers are Advertising Executive, Architect, Web Designer, Creative Director, Public Relations, Fine or Commercial Artist, Interior Decorator, Lawyer, Librarian, Musician, Reporter, Art Teacher, Broadcaster, Technical Writer, English Teacher, Architect, Photographer, Medical Illustrator, Corporate Trainer, Author, Editor, Landscape Architect, Exhibit Builder, and Package Designer.

CREATOR WORKPLACES
Consider workplaces where you can create and improve beauty and aesthetic qualities. Unstructured, flexible organizations that allow self-expression work best with your free-spirited nature.

Suggested Creator workplaces are advertising, public relations, and interior decorating firms; artistic studios, theaters and concert halls; institutions that teach crafts, universities, music, and dance schools. Other workplaces to consider are art institutes, museums, libraries, and galleries.
