What Is Butt Dust???

What, you ask, is 'Butt dust'? Read on and you'll discover the joy in it!
These have to be original and genuine. No adult is this creative!!

JACK (age 3) was watching his Mom breast-feeding his new baby sister. After a while he asked: 'Mom why have you got two? Is one for hot and one for cold milk?'

MELANIE (age 5) asked her Granny how old she was Granny replied she was so old she didn't remember any more. Melanie said, 'If you don't remember you must look in the back of your panties. Mine say five to six.'

STEVEN (age 3) hugged and kissed his Mom good night. 'I love you so much that when you die I'm going to bury you outside my bedroom window.'

BRITTANY (age 4) had an ear ache and wanted a pain killer. She tried in vain to take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration, her Mom explained it was a child-proof cap and she'd have to open it for her. Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: 'How does it know it's me?'

SUSAN (age 4) was drinking juice when she got the hiccups. 'Please don't give me this juice again,' she said, 'It makes my teeth cough.'

DJ (age 4) stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: 'How much do I cost?'

CLINTON (age 5) was in his bedroom looking worried. When his Mom asked what was troubling him, he replied, 'I don't know what'll happen with this bed when I get married. How will my wife fit in it?'

MARC (age 4) was engrossed in a young couple that were hugging and kissing in a restaurant. Without taking his eyes off them, he asked his dad: 'Why is he whispering in her mouth?'


TAMMY (age 4) was with her mother when they met an elderly, rather wrinkled woman her Mom knew. Tammy looked at her for a while and then asked, 'Why doesn't your skin fit your face?'

JAMES (age 4) was listening to a Bible story. His dad read: 'The man named Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city but his wife looked back and was turned to salt.' Concerned, James asked: 'What happened to the flea?'

The Sermon I think this Mom will never forget .
This particular Sunday sermon...'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust...' He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Come, look with me inside this drawer,

In this box I've often seen,

At the pictures, black and white,

Faces proud, still, and serene.

I wish I knew the people,

These strangers in the box,

Their names and all their memories,

Are lost among my socks.

I wonder what their lives were like,

How did they spend their days?

What about their special times?

I'll never know their ways.

If only someone had taken time,

To tell, who, what, where, and when,

These faces of my heritage,

Would come to life again.

Could this become the fate,

Of the pictures we take today?

The faces and the memories,

Someday to be passed away?

Take time to save your stories,

Seize the opportunity when it knocks,

Or someday you and yours,

The ABC’s of Chipboard

A    Paint and Sand
Paint the letter orange and let dry. Sand the edges. Apply a glossy paint coat with a tip, carefully pushing the product to the edges to form a dome over the letter. Let dry. Add three jewels.

B    Cover with Patterned Paper
Use tombow on back of paper. Apply the paper piece on top of the chipboard letter and rub firmly to adhere. Use a craft knife to trim off excess. Ink the edges with black.

C    Cover and Add a Jewel
Use tombow to adhere teal paper. Apply the paper piece on top of the chipboard letter and rub firmly to adhere. Use a craft knife to trim off excess. Sand the edges to reveal the white paper core. Adhere a jewel to a small paper flower and adhere it to the letter.

D    Add Paper Cutouts
Paint the letter green and let dry. Trim stars from patterned paper and adhere to the chipboard. When it's dry, trace a fine black line around the inside edge of each star.

E    Cover and Ink
Run polka-dot paper through a Xyron machine. Apply the piece on top of the chipboard letter and rub firmly to adhere. Use a craft knife to trim off excess. Ink the edges of the chipboard black.

F    Add Metallic Paint
Apply metallic paint to the chipboard letter by pushing it to the edges with the tip of the bottle. Let dry completely.

G    Paint Stripes
Paint the entire letter white and let dry. Paint orange stripes on top and let dry. Using a fine black pen, draw a straight line between each pair of stripes. Coat the chipboard letter with glossy paint;
let dry.

H    Get a Crackle Finish
Paint the chipboard letter blue and let dry. Apply crackle paint. The crackling will appear as it dries.

I    Substitute a Jewel
Paint the chipboard letter black and let dry. Sand the edges. Replace the dot of the "i" with an orange star jewel.

J    Cover and Sand
Use
tombow and adhere green paper. Apply the paper piece on top of the chipboard letter and rub firmly to adhere. Use a craft knife to trim off excess. Sand the outer and inner edges.

K    Mask and Ink
Apply thin tape as a mask to make stripes. Ink the letter green and let dry. Pull off the tape.

L    Add Jewels
Paint the chipboard letter blue and let dry. Add a line of jewels to the front.

M    Make Circles
Paint the chipboard letter white and let dry. Apply hole reinforcers as masks around the letter. Sponge around the holes with orange paint. Allow to dry completely and then peel off the reinforcers.

N    Add Contrasting Jewels
Paint the chipboard letter green and let dry. Adhere blue jewels to the front.

O    Add Transparent Stickers
Apply transparent definition stickers to the front of the letter and trim off excess with a craft knife. Adhere a blue star jewel on top.

P    Include Paper Flowers
Paint the chipboard letter orange and let dry. Sand the edges. Add small white paper flowers randomly over the top. Apply a thick coat of clear paint over the top.

Q    Outline the Letter
Go around the edge of the letter with a fine black pen.

R    Add Glitter
Paint the chipboard letter blue and let dry. Apply glitter glue on top by brushing it on with a paintbrush. Add additional layers of glitter glue as you like.

S    Place Stickease or a Sticker on Top
Lay Stickease or a sticker on top of the chipboard letter. Trim off excess with a  craft knife. Sand the edges and ink with a black pad.

T    Layer on Paper
Run striped paper through a Xyron machine. Apply the paper piece on top of the chipboard letter and rub firmly to adhere. Use a craft knife to trim off excess. Sand the edges.

U    Trim with Decorative-Edge Scissors
Paint the negative piece of the chipboard letter green and let dry. Paint the chipboard letter black and let dry. Coat the letter with clear paint. Trim the top of the green piece with pinking shears. Sand the edges. Place the letter inside the negative space.

V    Add on Paper
Run striped paper through a Xyron machine. Apply the paper piece on top of the chipboard letter and rub firmly to adhere. Use a craft knife to trim off excess. Sand the edges. Apply a clear coat of paint over the top.

W    Add Sticker Strips
Adhere sticker strips to the letter horizontally. Trim off excess with a craft knife and sand the edges. Ink the edges with a black pad.

X    Paint and Outline
Paint the chipboard letter green and allow to dry. Outline the letter with a fine black pen. Adhere an orange jewel to a white paper flower and adhere it to the letter.

Y    Paint and Sand
Paint the chipboard letter orange and let dry. Sand the edges.

Z    Paint and Add Jewels
Paint the chipboard letter black and let dry. Add jewels along the letter edges.
